Opaque formats include PostScript, PDF, 55 proprietary formats that can be read and edited only by 56 proprietary word processors, SGML or XML for which the DTD 57 and/or processing tools are not generally available, and the 58 machine-generated HTML produced by some word processors for 59 output purposes only. 60 </p><p><a name="fdl-title-page"></a> 61 The <span class="quote">“<span class="quote">Title Page</span>”</span> means, for a printed book, the 62 title page itself, plus such following pages as are needed to 63 hold, legibly, the material this License requires to appear in 64 the title page. For works in formats which do not have any title 65 page as such, <span class="quote">“<span class="quote">Title Page</span>”</span> means the text near the 66 most prominent appearance of the work's title, preceding the 67 beginning of the body of the text. 68 </p></div><div class="navfooter"><hr><table width="100%" summary="Navigation footer"><tr><td width="40%" align="left"><a accesskey="p" href="fdl.html">Prev</a> </td><td width="20%" align="center"><a accesskey="u" href="fdl.html">Up</a></td><td width="40%" align="right"> <a accesskey="n" href="fdl-section2.html">Next</a></td></tr><tr><td width="40%" align="left" valign="top">Appendix M. GNU Free Documentation License </td><td width="20%" align="center"><a accesskey="h" href="index.html">Home</a></td><td width="40%" align="right" valign="top"> 2.
