6   When a parallel port driver is forcibly unloaded, or a
7   parallel port becomes inaccessible, the port driver must call
8   this function in order to deal with device drivers that still
9   want to use it.

13   operations structure replaced with one containing 'null'
14   operations that return errors or just don't do anything.
